Charlie’s Grind and Grill: Best Angus Beef Burgers
I wish to thank my friend Buche for introducing me to the best burger I’ve ever tasted – a cheesy Angus Beef burger from Charlie’s Grind and Grill along Kapitolyo, Pasig city.
Cheesy Angus Beef Burger... Yum!
Beatriz Acosta has raved about their burgers, even saying that “I’m happy to share that so far, none of my burger experiences can eclipse that of Charlie’s.” It turns out the Chef Robby has concocted the best combination of affordable and extremely delicious Angus beef ever.
A Charlies’ angus beef burger easily eclipses Wham!, Brother’s or Chili’s burger anytime – I found those a bit too dry and unflavorful. After one bite of a Charlie’s burger, all burgers will seem inferior to this burger god. And a bun is only P200!

I have yet to try their other dishes but I have heard that the Fish and Chips (P180) are also to die for. I’ll come back for that one.
One note on the location – it’s beside a car wash so its really hard to miss. Imagine having your car cleaned while your stomach gets a slice of burger heaven.- convenient and bright idea, eh?

The inside is warm and cozy and there’s a tv in case you run out of conversation topics with your date. You can also talk about why mustard (freely available), mayonnaise and ketchup is the best combination to accompany your burger and fries.

If you want to taste everything, bring a bit of money – an angus burger with fries costs about P250-P300, and the beers are not cheap. Bring Php700 for you and your date if treating.
If the previous message didn’t get through, bring enough money. It’s not cheap, but it will be your best burger experience ever.

The Perfect Burger
Ate here twice. The owner also runs the car wash. Love the burgers. Quite heavy on the tummy. The burgers are flavorful. It’s a good option to mall-based restaurants. Capitol residents are lucky to have it in their area.
